Steal a Brainrot Mutation Guide

Mutations change the color and value of a Brainrot without changing its rarity. Gold, Diamond, and Rainbow mutations multiply the base value, sometimes several times over, which is why two of the "same" Brainrot can trade very differently.

Always check a Brainrot's mutation before valuing it — a Rainbow-mutated Rare can be worth more than a base Legendary. The calculator above already factors this in automatically.

Mutations are visual and functional upgrades applied on top of a Brainrot's base rarity. A Gold mutation gives a noticeable but modest boost, Diamond pushes the income and value up considerably further, and Rainbow — the rarest of the three — can multiply a base Brainrot's worth several times over. Some events have also introduced a Galaxy mutation tier above Rainbow on select items, so it's worth double-checking before assuming Rainbow is always the ceiling.

Because mutations apply independently of rarity, the interaction between the two is what actually decides most trade disputes. A base Secret and a Gold-mutated Legendary can end up surprisingly close in value, which is exactly the kind of comparison that's easy to get wrong without a calculator and easy to get right with one.

Steal a Brainrot Codes

Steal a Brainrot got a proper public codes system in the Summer Update Part 1 (Update 53, released June 13, 2026). Before that update, the developer had only used the redemption system for one-off, merch-linked codes — now there are real codes anyone can redeem, though they don't drop very often and each one is limited to a certain number of uses before it stops working.

To redeem a code, open the Codes menu on the left side of the screen (it sits right next to the Trade button after the Summer Update), type in the code exactly as shown, and press Enter. For codes that spawn an item rather than giving instant cash, head to the Red Carpet near the tunnel entrance before redeeming — that's where the reward appears, and you'll want enough cash on hand to grab it before another player does.

If you come across a site listing a long block of "active codes" that doesn't match what you see here, treat it with caution — a lot of those lists are outdated, recycled from other Roblox games, or copy old expired codes forward without checking. We keep this table honest: active codes stay active only until they're actually confirmed to stop working, and everything else is clearly marked expired rather than deleted and forgotten.

The most reliable way to get ahead between code drops is playing during Admin Abuse events, held Tuesdays at 6 PM EST and on Saturdays during the weekly update window. These events spawn Lucky Blocks, time-limited Brainrots, and exclusive traits that aren't available any other way. Teaming up with friends also grants a passive cash multiplier and makes both stealing and defending your base considerably easier.

Newest Brainrots Added

New Brainrots are added through regular Saturday updates, including seasonal releases and special collaborations. Early values can shift fast as demand settles in the first few days, so it's worth double-checking the calculator before trading anything brand new.

When a fresh Brainrot drops, its early trade value is often driven more by hype and scarcity than by its actual stats — everyone wants to be one of the first to own it, which can temporarily push its price well above where it settles once supply catches up. Waiting a few days before trading a brand-new item, either to acquire or give away, usually means a more accurate and fair valuation on both sides.

New releases are also where reclassifications tend to happen first. Sammy frequently tweaks a newly added Brainrot's rarity or income rate within the first week or two based on community feedback and how the economy reacts, so treat any very recent addition's listed value as provisional rather than final.
